Privacy Policy

The European Control Association (EUCA) takes the issue of privacy seriously.  The following Privacy Policy outlines the information that is collected by EUCA through the Control Conference websites it administers, how this information is used and how we safeguard it in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Personally Identifiable Information

EUCA does not collect any personally identifiable information from its website visitors on this site.

EUCA uses a third-party service, Papercept, to manage the conference and registration process. Papercept does collect personally identifiable information. Please refer to Papercept’s privacy policy to learn more about any information that they collect, and their own policies with regards to data collection.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

EUCA does collect non-personally identifiable information from you in order for us to better understand how this website is used. Log files are collected and are primarily used by the server administrator for error notification, server administration and to monitor website performance. At times portions of the log files may be viewed by others for the purpose of server administration, security or when required by law.

EUCA also collects, tracks and analyzes stats using Google Analytics. Google utilizes the data collected to track and examine the use of the websites, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.  Due to user privacy concerns, Google Analytics doesn’t report on personally identifiable information, including a visitor’s IP address. Cookies

This website utilizes a standard web technology called “cookies”. A cookie is a token that a server gives to your browser when you access a website. Cookies are capable of storing many types of data.
